Signed by James Wishon of Willett Studios (mide century pottery studio near San Diego, CA - see history below). Amazing Geometric Glaze Pattern on 2 sides. Amazing curved shape with narrow opening. Amazing specimen of early Mid Century pottery. James Wishon and Jerry Harrell began their professional pottery careers working for Frank Willett at Willett Studios in Pico Rivera, California.

Both Willett and Wishon had work included in the California Design 9 exhibit. It is believed that Willett and Wishon threw the ware and Jerry Harrell did much of the glaze decoration.
