Wayne Chapman (Allied Craftsmen of San Diego) soda or wood fired ash glazed low vase, pot, jar with a very Japanese aesthetic. Would make a lovely Ikebana flower arranging vase. Beautifully glassy glossy glazed surface over vertical and horizontal incised line designs around exterior. Brown groggy sandy stoneware ceramic body. Stamped signature "WC" at underside.
In Excellent vintage condition with no damages we can find. Measures approximately 8 inches tall, 4 inches in diameter at the rim, 10 inches in diameter at its widest point, and 4.50 inches in diameter at the base.
