Mid-Century Modern Edmund Ronaky JARU Art Pottery Abstract Figure Jar Face. Abstract art pottery figural, produced. For Jaru of California Pottery. This colorful piece of art pottery is interesting for its polka dots vary from the usual star motif expressed by Ronaky.

The rich browns and accenting sky blues capture a Mid Century flavor. Also rather tall, the piece stands 12 ¾ tall with a 5 3/8 base. The vertical line to the right of the mouth is not a crack but a line of dirt which I removed.

This piece has no cracks. No chips or cracks yet some moderate grazing.

Jaru Art Products was started in 1950 by Jack and Ruth Hirsh in Culver City, Calif. The name is a combination of the first two letters of their first names (Ja and ru).
