Vintage TOM COLEMAN HUGE 21 STUDIO ART POTTERY SLAB SCULPTURE 18 pounds

Fine and unusually large Tom Coleman sculptural slab. This monster measures 21 1/2" wide, 15 1/2" long and 5 high at ends. It is thick and weighs over 18 pounds. It is decorated with primarily orange glazes and dark brown bamboo leaves. It is essentially footless, with a rounded bottom but does sit firmly in it's way, especially on a rug or softer surface.

Signed by Mr Coleman to one side: Coleman. Good vintage condition but does have a series of small shallow chips to the glaze along the rolled edge (see last 2 photos).

In 35 years, this slab is the largest most imposing piece by Mr Coleman I have seen.
