Vintage Ted & Susan Harlander Studio Art Pottery Sgraffito Coffee Mug

Very early Ted and Susan Harlander sweet Sgraffito coffee mug. Classic cubist decoration of various people sitting. Interior of mug and base are dark glossy clay, exterior has a mat glaze. 4 1/4 High, 2 3/4 diameter. There is an inherent small firing crack on the base.

Efflorescence in the interior, and a few teeny tiny spots in the incised areas where the glaze did not adhere. A pinhead sized glaze skip or scuff on the rim. A beautiful functional addition to your collection of mid century modern Canadian studio ceramics. Early logo stamp in centre of base.
