Vintage Studio Pottery Vase BRUTALIST / WABI SABI Could also be a pitcher

Offering for your consideration - very unique signed piece of studio pottery. Some would call it a pitcher and others a vase - could be used for both as the inside is also glazed so it can hold water.

And still others may say it should be used for decorative purposes only. I would think they are all correct.

This piece measures 5 1/2" tall by about 6 1/2" left to right and 7 front to back. The piece of art is made of layers/rows of scale like ripples being covered by thick crawling glaze that is not quite melted. Like an eruption of a volcano spewing over the sides. The earthy finish is what I would call not only "Brutalist"(imperfect) but also "Wabi Sabi" (beautiful in its imperfection). Excellent condition with a few signs of age and use. Free of cracks, breaks or repairs. Please be aware my photos are considered part of the listing description and are based on my own knowledge, experience and research.
