Vintage Studio Pottery Large Fruit Basket by J. Santos Portugal- SIGNED As Is

This is an oval woven ceramic basket created by J. If you look carefully you will see the strawberry leaf was broken at some point and glued back, and painted. This has also been done to the tip of the leaf below it, except for it was restored with a food safe ceramic alternative, painted, and then coated with a food safe coating. Lastly the berries on the outside of the rim 2 of them have had their stems replaced with the same materials, and in the same manor. It looks good, but I would not feel right not disclosing the repairs.

To look at it most people might see the strawberry repair, but the other repairs seem to been in very well. It is still a great piece, and would look amazing on a side board, or with a nice linen towel in it, and fruit set in it.
