Vintage Studio Pottery Bulbous Vase Alligator Gar

This is an offering for a pristine vase measuring about 9.5'' high. The decoration looks to be an alligator gar. There are two indentations just up from the base as seen in the last picture. The lighter finish is a salt-glaze.

The darker looks to be a stain type finish. The body is thicker that you would think it would be. Not a hint of use and has no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs.
