She lived in Los Angeles and produced pottery. Condition The vase displays nicely overall, but is not in perfect condition.
There is some damage to the rim which includes a "clamshell" fracture or unchipped chip. This is an area where the rim was bumped and the clay fractured, but the piece did not break off. There are associated smaller flakes to the glaze and clay, as shown. I did not include a photo of this area from the interior, so if you need one, please let me know.
