This mystery artist created a modernist covered casserole dish with a handle in the style of Karen Karnes. I can't read the signature, but it's dated 71 in the middle.
Whoever made it was certainly a professional. It's 12.25" wide and 6" tall including the handle, and it weighs 6 lbs.
The one flaw when they made it was one end of the handle coming up. It's still attached, just not the last 1/4.
The glaze is a speckled brown/tan with some blue around the top middle. The bottom half has a 3/8 wide chip on the rim and another spot with a thin chip/nick. The top half has some worn areas around the edge from rubbing against the bottom half.
