Vintage Mid Century Raku Pottery Studio Ceramic Sculpture of Female Signed

Part of a family collection. This large and unusual sculpture belonged to my late relatives.

We dont know enough about it. We believe it to be Raku studio pottery. The large white crackle glaze sculpture depicts what we think is an Angel with wing slightly curved towards the viewer. We dont know the age of the item, we have described as mid century, i think that looks about right but could well be older or newer but it certainly has age. For some reason the family thought it was from America but no real facts behind that.

Recently out of storage in France and in very good condition but please use all pictures for a full condition report. To the curved base on the very left a impressed potters mark, sadly we are unable to read or find a similar impressed mark.

Perhaps you know the artist. The sculpture sands just under 11" tall by 6" wide and 5.5 deep including the curved design, size aprox!
