This vase was made in Japan in the mid to late 60s, it is signed in Kanji but I cannot say by who. The vase has the look of wheel thrown pottery but it is cast. The blue brushstroke design alternates between broad and narrow vertical drip glaze stripes on a field of aligatored ochre. Measures 12" tall and 5" wide.
There are no chips, cracks or repairs, there are minor scattered scuffs the look like pencil marks.
