This perfectly proportioned smaller-sized vessel has been finished in the most exquisite metallic iridescent glaze. The rich and lustrous glaze glistens with delightful iridescent shades of green, gold, purple and blue, the colours appearing to change as light dances over the stylishly curved form.
On close inspection with a magnifier it becomes evident that the glaze is composed of small crystalline cells of metallic iridescent colour, their prismatic surfaces adding an exquisite depth and dazzling sparkle to this delightful piece. The individual cells of colour look incredibly similar to the scales on the wings of an iridescent butterfly when viewed under magnification.
