Vintage Large 12 Stoneware Vase Mid Century Modern Geometric Studio Art Pottery

This big piece is just over 12 tall and 7.85 wide, weighing 7 lbs. It is signed CAS and 76 on the bottom. It has different shapes incised into the pottery all the way around. The shapes are differentiated by color and some have incised lines going in different directions.

I would only count the two chips at the top as condition flaws. There are some tiny chips around the bottom edge that are hard to see, and plenty of tiny chips in the incised lines where the tiny stones were unearthed, like plowing a field. The interior has a gray glaze. There is some evidence that it held water at some point in the form of calcification a couple inches up from the bottom, inside and out.
