Vintage Japanese Green Glazed Ikebana Vase Signed Mid-Century Studio Pottery
Beautiful mid-century Japanese studio pottery Ikebana vase with flowing organic form and deep emerald-green glaze. The piece has a modern sculptural shape with twin openings for flower stems and an impressed circular potter's mark on the base. Crafted from stoneware and finished with a rich variegated green glaze that shifts from moss to jade tones. Typical of 1950s-1970s Japanese modern ceramic design. Material: Stoneware with high-fire glaze. Finish: Glossy green over dark clay. Mark: Impressed circular seal on base. Condition: Good vintage condition; small glaze chip and minor surface wear consistent with age (see photos).
A striking decorative accent or sculptural flower holder. Beautiful with minimalist or wabi-sabi décor.
