Vintage Frances Senska Studio Art Pottery Vase

Vintage Frances Senska decorative, studio art pottery small vase. Frances Senska needs no introduction in the art world. Her students included world renown artists Peter Voulkes and Rudy Autio. Her other accolades include Professor of Art at Montana State University (Bozeman, Montana) and a founding member of the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Helena, Montana. This gorgeous, hand-thrown, one-of-a-kind piece features abstract striated pattern with muted flowers along base. Teal/turquoise body capped with a ring of deep espresso brown (please see my store for matching pieces). Piece features original Sourdough Kiln House (Bozeman, Montana, USA) label and the Artist's chop mark.

It measures approximately 2.75"T with a diameter of 3.25"x6.5. Mint Condition with all the unique characteristics the artist crafted into this hand-thrown piece of Art Pottery. Would make a great "starter piece" or complimentary piece to other Senska works.
