Vintage Charles Gluskoter Studio Art Pottery Teapot RARE

Charles Gluskoter is a professional studio potter with nearly 40 years experience creating unique ceramic vessels with a distinct style. This 1980's Vintage Teapot measures approximately 6.5" tall to top of the lid, 7" wide, and 11 from tip of the spout to the back of the handle. Teapot is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. Reasonable offer will be considered. My vessels have an old world quality to them.

I mix dirt from my own backyard, among other ingredients to achieve a textured and gritty finish on my pieces from teapots to funeral jars. Than 30 years of experience creating ceramic vessels with a distinct style that combines wheel throwing and slab building. The pieces I build have their roots in functional forms, but have evolved to be far more textural and sculptural. Most pieces require me to combine slab building and throwing techniques in each vessel.

The slabs are pounded with various tools to achieve their texture. Many of the vessels are carved with intricate designs. The glazes I use are rough, dry and metallic in character.

This combination imparts an old world multicultural character.
