Vintage 70's x Large LittleJohn Pottery Candleholder Studio Mid Century VASE

Victoria Littlejohn ceramics studio Pottery. Signed and mark of 471. Stands with bottom saucer 10. Cut out design for candle light.

Or use as vase with dry flowers. Most likely late 60's early 70's era. Front and back has the cut out look.

Great for table with a 2 room opening to enjoy the light. Chips on larger piece bottom.

Artist in Residence, Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts, Ojai, California. Victoria Littlejohn produced both production and one-of-a-kind work. Her production work was produced at Victoria Littlejohn Ceramics and is typically press molded stoneware.

Her one of a kind pieces were made using stoneware or earthenware. While at the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts, Littlejohn worked with terra cotta. At the University of Southern California, Littlejohn studied pottery with F. Carlton Ball and Susan Petersen before going on to study with Peter Voulkos and Marguerite Wildenhain.
