Vintage 60s Mid Century HUGE Modernist Kokeshi Figurine Studio Pottery Bowl

DESCRIPTION : This huge vintage 60's mid century modern Charger bowl is in excellent condition. The large bowl measures 18 1/2" across and 4" in depth. It is handmade out of pottery or stoneware. The interior is beautifully hand painted in shades of brown, beige and blue.

There are several Japanese Kokeshi Doll figurines. There is also an artists signature. I cannot decipher this but I have taken a photo for you to see. The style appears to be Scandinavian..

Maybe from Denmark, Norway, Finland or Sweden. The bowl is very impressive and quite the show piece. Add this one of a kind bowl to your collection or give as a gift to a special friend.
