Vintage 1950's Pottery Dinner & Tea Service Eileen Stevens Butterfly Tureens etc. On offer is a fabulous collection of 1950's studio pottery created by the extremely tallented British Potter, Eileen Stevens. Please see below for many more photographs. The set comprises of the following pieces. 3 X Cups measuring approximately 2½" tall, 3" rim diameter.

3 X Mugs measuring approximately 3" tall, 3" rim diameter. 6 X Saucers measuring approximately 6 diameter. 1 X Huge Teapot measuring approximately 6" tall, 11½" spout lip to handle edge. 1 X large milk jug / water jug measuring approximately 5" tall, 6" spout lip to handle edge.

1 X sugar bowl measuring approximately 2¾" tall, 3½" rim diameter. 6 X bowls measuring approximately 2" deep, 4¾" rim diameter (varies slightly between each bowl). 6 X large plates/platters measuring approximately 10¾" long by 9¼" wide (one has a hairline crack).

1 X lidded tureen measuring approximately 5½" tall (including lid), 8" handle to handle edge, 5 outer rim diameter. Holds approximately 1400ml of liquid. 1 X lidded tureen measuring approximately. 6¼" tall (including lid), 7½" handle to handle edge, 5½ outer rim diameter. The glaze is superb, the design and colour, each of the cups, mugs, jug, open sugar, all are decorated with the beautiful butterfly detail.

The tureens are not only gorgeous pieces which look superb on display, they are a piece of history which are functional and fit amazingly within the contemporary home.
