Two Unique Art Pottery Plates. Rustic Abstract Loosely Shaped Design. Nice condition, there may be some light wear to the edges, a tiny chip, etc. The lighter plate shows some "cracks" from the production process - this isn't damage! Janet Rothwoman of Los Angeles, California circa 1960.

Janet Rothwoman was the wife of studio potter Jerry Rothman. Jerry Rothman was a part of the Ceramic Revolution and was an artist at the Otis Art Institute, he also worked making Studio Pieces with other greats such as Kenneth Price, Peter Voulkos and Paul Soldner.
