Table Lamp A Vintage English Studio Pottery Lamp By Neville & Green Hand Painted

A Vintage and Very Retro English Studio Pottery Ceramic Table Lamp from the late 20th Century. A great hand made piece that is very heavy and solid. Made in Shropshire and marked as Neville & Green - Made by Mary Neville and Ivor Green.

The lamp has a mottled Blue & White background with 4 repeated hand painted floral decorations which are bright and colourful. Marked under with the N. Please see my images for the best description.

The lamp is very heavy for its size, it is stable and is made from weighty ceramics, it has brass fittings and a brass plated top plate. The lamp has earthed 3 core wiring and a switched earthed brass safer bulb holder - The lamp works perfectly. Please see my images for the best details.

Ceramic height is 22 Cm - Overall Height is 29 Cm - The lamp is 20 Cm Diameter Condition is good, the lamp works well and is free of damage. There are marks in the pottery & glaze from the hand manufacturing process. Some small spots of age and tarnish to the metal top plate. Again please refer to my images for a good description.
