Ashley frequently glazed his work in a variety of earth tones and occasionally used these glazes to create abstract landscape decorations on his work. Firing was completed in a cone 10 gas reduction kiln. Ashley worked with Charles Counts at Rising Fawn Pottery, before opening his own studio in Chattanooga. There are no issues or repairs.
