Ceramic Art Pottery Vase Vessel. Artist Signed "FROM SPHERE TO ETERNITY". The Vintage Pottery Vessel Vase by Meg Scott, signed in 1991, is a unique piece with a drip glaze of sorts at the top with a textured surface/pattern on the vessel itself, in a natural beige clay/ceramic color with dark color edging dripped around the opening of the'sphere' where the man and woman are standing for all'eternity'. Handmade from clay, this artistic vase features intricate details such as hand-painted, textured designs and is adorned with the signature of the artist and date she created it. The vintage piece reflects the late 20th-century aesthetic and is a one-of-a-kind addition to any decor, capturing the theme of art and studio pottery with a'sphere-to-eternity' design. That title makes perfect sense for the work: the primary form is an almost complete sphere, while the irregular opening and tiny human figures standing at its edge create a figurative landscape. This is a one-of-a-kind studio ceramic/sculptural vessel, and the artist deliberately titled and dated it. The sphere itself stands at roughly 9 inches high with the two figures. The concept much clearer: two simplified human figures stand together at the edge of a large, fractured/open sphere, looking into its dark interior.

That strongly reinforces the title From Sphere to Eternity. The work reads as much as a conceptual ceramic sculpture as it does a functional vessel... Totally up to you how you display this.

Signed, titled, dated on the underside. This has been part of my brother's personal collection..
