Lg Retro Vintage 70's Peter Ellery Tremaen Art Pottery Mayan Design Lamp Base
On offer a fabulous large vintage 70's Tremaen Art Pottery Mayan design lamp base by Peter Ellery in excellent condition with no chips cracks crazing or other damage. Will need the bulb holder replacing (see photo 5). Complete with base baize to stop surface scratching. This is a fabulous peter Ellery design who started out as an artist and became an art potter for Tremaen in the 70's before returning to painting in the late 80's. This is a classic flattened bottle shaped base with lovely deep sgraffito design Mayan art.
And wonderful tactile fine sand textured shades of matt brown glaze. Measures approx 31cm high excluding the lamp holder and 19cm wide and 15cm deep. A really nice decorative piece to add to a minimalist or period look home.
