Conrad (San Diego, California; ceramic artist, author, glaze specialist, professor of ceramics at Mesa College Ceramics Department; member of Allied Craftsmen of San Diego; exhibitions at AMOCA The American Museum of Ceramic Art) Wheel thrown weed pot style bottle vase. Classic teardrop form with subtly flared rim, slender vertical neck, and a bulbous body. Vertical incised lines around shoulder. Stunning matte and glossy bubbly melting dripping mottled textural glazed surface in deep slate blue to almost Oxblood red glazed surface, with one frozen drip near foot. Etched signature at underside, reads "JW Conrad".

In Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or scuffs. Measures approximately 9 inches tall, 1.25 inches in diameter at the rim exterior, 5.50 inches in diameter at its widest point, and 2 inches in diameter at the base.
