A LOVELY VINTAGE JOHN MALTBY STONEWARE BOX WITH REPEATING DECORATIVE MOTIF. MARKS - Incised to base. SIZE - 5.5cm (2 1/8in) diameter , 4.8cm (1 7/8in) high.

CONDITION - GOOD there is a small shallow chip to the rim of the lower section, on very close inspection I can see this happened before the final firing, possibly when loading the kiln. There is also a very small fault to the top edge of the lid that looks like a little glaze frit.
