EXCEPTIONAL MCM 1960s VINTAGE STUDIO ART POTTERY HAND MADE LAMP ABSTRACT

Fine and exceptional 1960s vintage studio art pottery lamp. This lamp is entirely hand made pottery and hand painted in three areas around the full circumference with the same abstract design which resembles cattails or plant forms. Colors are predominantly light warm gray and blue with rich brown details at base.

I don't find a signature on this but have not removed felt on bottom. It is masterfully thrown and painted. Pottery alone measures about 20" high by about 6" wide. Base widens to about 8. Overall height to finial is about 34 and harp is easily replaceable if desired.

Socket is 3 way and works well. Lamp has been well cared for and is in very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, scratches, etc. This lamp is a unique hand made modernist pottery sculpture and will bring beauty to any room.

It weighs a substantial 17 pounds and sits solidly an a table surface. An excellent and gorgeous way to bring light into your life. Questions always welcome and thanks for looking.
