Enchanting vase of understated beauty by Carl Harry Stalhane for Rostrand. 28cm tall and 11.5cm wide (at the widest part). Mysterious dark aubergine coloured glaze which gets slightly darker toward the base and has small subtle.

Brick-red highlights, a touch of orange around the neck and a s. The enigmatic dark colour draws attention to the refined, curvaceous form and it's finesse. It takes great skill to produce such a perfect slim neck and incredibly thin rim. Vintage item in VERY GOOD CONDITION.

No chips, cracks or unpleasant odours. On close inspection, there are no noticeable signs of wear, except for one small light scuff mark to the glaze. (short and fine / approx 5mm in length) near the bottom (shown in the second photo but looks more prominent here than to the eye).

There are two other smaller and fainter scuff marks in the lower half which are barely noticeable / difficult to. Spot, even up close under bright light (and too faint to photograph).
