Antique 1920's Art Deco Pair of Vases Studio Pottery Made in Czechoslovakia. For your consideration is an amazing pair of large studio pottery vases. Organic shape with stunning Art Deco style decoration.
Floral designs in subdued Earth tones: ochre, orange, green maroon, blue and black. The big flower motif repeats three times around. Marked at the bottom Made in Czechoslovakia with green stamp, as well two model numbers; D1605 stamped in green, possibly for the design, and in relief the 3890, possibly for the vase body. There is also incised number 8, possibly the size. Three spur marks from the kiln. Circa early 20th century, 1920's-1930's, most likely BIHL studio or Amphora. 8" tall x 8" widest diameter (across) x 5 top diameter.Each weighs about 3 lbs.
