She studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art and Cranbrook Academy. Parshall's creations can be found in private collections as well as in museums such as the Houston Museum of Fine Art and the Cleveland Institute of Art. Her work has been shown from the East Coast to the West Coast including the Pottery Nationals in 1956, 1960 & 1962. Parshall's pieces have been referenced in ceramics periodicals including Ceramics Monthly issues from the 1950's and 1960's 11.1953; 2.1960; 1.1966; 6.1966 etc.She often partnered with artist Denis Chasek.
