3 Vtg Mid Century Mod Studio Art Pottery Low Bowls Signed Nelson Dated 1940 & 54

Set of 3 Vintage Mid Century Modern Studio Art Pottery Dish Bowls Signed Nelson. 9 3/4" diameter, 7" inner diameter, 1 3/4 high. Gloss glaze in yellow, olive, blue and grey on a butternut yellow ground. Signed on bottom "Nelson July'40".

Fine craquelure over entire piece. One repaired chip (detailed in photo). 9 3/8" diameter, 7 3/4" inner diameter, 1 1/4 high.

Gloss glaze in green, black, yellow, blues, etc. On a terra cotta ground. Signed on bottom "Nelson 54".

One flea bite out of edge as detailed in photo. Signs of wear to interior bottom glaze upon close inspection. 9 3/8" diameter, 7 7/8" inner diameter, 1 1/2 high.

Gloss glaze in shades of blue, black and white on a terra cotta ground. Dense crackle glaze on center design. Signed on bottom "Nelson 54", also "Stokes" incised into clay.

No chips or cracks detected. Found at a Santa Fe, New Mexico estate. E photos and answer questions. From a pet and smoke free environment.
