Vintage STEPHEN POLCHERT studio art pottery vessel vase blue 1950's MCM Nebraska. This is a beautiful vase. The color is a blue mix / turquoise. The vase is in excellent condition, does not appear to have any cracks or repairs. It stands 4" high, Just under 5 1/2" across the bottom.

Clearly marked on bottom from his studio. Has a marking number on bottom that does not corresponds to a year. From the late 1950's.

The photos show each side. Is one of the early innovators that led to the renaissance of American Studio pottery, cf. Everson Museum, web, 1954-77, exhibits at Jocelyn Art Museum- studied U of Chicago, Cranbrook, Nebraska.
