Vintage Modern Deco Chic Ceramic 14 Teapot & Cups Signed Studio Pottery Art

Stunning Giant Teapot with two cups. This is a Unique Ceramic Studio art piece. A Huge teapot, with a very distinct decorative style. I don't know the classification- maybe call it "Mod", "Chic", "Fashionista"? It looks vaguely art deco- I don't know, but it's Highly attractive and eye-catching.

I'm guessing from mid 1980's - early 1990's. Made by a highly skilled, though apparently not very prolific artist. Signed Riki Moss first name is very hard to read though- it might be Ricki, Rik, Ryan, Ryu?

Predominant hues are pink, white, black and green- displaying a diversity and mastery of color application techniques. Trapezoidal pyramid in shape, made by slab-construction, with tripod stilt-like feet, Gilded rim, Flowing free-hand painting of a woman with flamingoes on one side and woman with dog on the other. Stands 14 ½" tall x 13 ½" long (handle to spout) x 10 ½ wide --- Like I said- Huge. Cups are 3" tall x 5 ½" long x 3 ½ wide. The only issues I can see are on the cups. Glaze seems to be slightly scuffed on one of the handles, and there are two small chips on the other cup- however the chips don't affect the line of the edge so they aren't particularly distracting (see photos). Thinly Glazed and made from thin, low-density ceramic, so I don't know, but I'm not going to say that it should, or could actually be used for anything more than an Objet d'art- But it certainly excels as a decorative focal piece, so that's probably forgivable.
