David Leach Studio Pottery Lidded Honey Pot. A beautiful small lidded pot made and designed by David Leach in his iconic style. It is made from a Stoneware type material and it is glazed and decorated with a celadon glaze. To the underneath is David Leach's personal incised mark, clearly visible. I believe the piece dates to around the mid 20th Century. It is a small sized pot with a hole in the top rim, suggesting it is perhaps a preserve or honey pot and this is for the spoon. It measures approximately 4" (10cm) high by 4" (10cm) wide. It is in good condition with no major damages however there is a small hairline crack just below the gap in the side (see photos). The glaze is crazed on the inside but i. T still displays very nicely and is a nice piece for the collector. The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions at all please ask.
