A Splendid Vintage Italian DeSimone Art Pottery Vase. A beautifully thrown pottery figural vase, with a fabulous waisted or'gourd' shaped body. The surface with a highly attractive, lightly textured, satin finish. Decorated with multiple bands and geometric designs in an array of vivid coloured glazes, to include reds, orange, turquoise and azure.

The face picked out in black, very much recalling the influence of Picasso. This is a large and highly attractive piece that is hard to miss. Vibrant with a superb vintage look and feel........ Full of mediterranean / Italian panache.
