STUDIO ART POTTERY VASE Vintage MID CENTURY MODERN Twisted Neck BLACK & WHITE

Mid Century Modern Art Pottery Vase. A local estate piece, this Art Pottery Vase has a repeating motif of an abstract human form which is outlined in white, incised into the black glaze of the vase. Almost totally black and white, there is a narrow twisted neck with a few iridescent patches revealing a hint of other colors. Adding visual interest, the narrow neck has a bit of a bend to one side.

The vase stands 19-1/4 inches high and has a 4 inch diameter base. It weighs 4 pounds 15 ounces.

The underside is marked with what looks like initials and some numbers, incised into the surface. An eye catching decorative piece sure to draw attention! There are no chips, cracks, crazing, hairlines, or repairs.

Some occasion tiny white spots of paint are found scattered about on the surface, but are easily removed with your fingernail. All pictures show the actual art pottery vase that you will receive.
