Presenting an exceptional Australian pottery Aboriginal wall plaque created and signed by Alexander Takacs. This fabulous piece depicts a relief portrait of an Aboriginal male and female, their faces connected together to create a balanced design.

The characterful faces have been very well modelled with fine detailing. The faces have been coloured in an appealing earthy red finish, with a black wash adding fabulous definition to the detail. This stunning piece is presented in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. There are some light scuffs to the painted finish on the reverse side, mentioned for complete accuracy. The front presents exceptionally well with no wear. This piece has been exceptionally well cared for and presents spectacularly. The reverse side is beautifully signed with an inscribed signature "Takacs Australia". This impressive piece measures 140mms tall x 120mms wide. This exquisite piece would make a fine addition to any Australian pottery, Aboriginal themed or Takacs collection.
