Poole studio pottery bowl blue backstamp huge dish vintage bowl fab drip glaze

Superb, original, undamaged condition Poole Pottery vintage studio bowl /dish with blue backstamp as shown. Rings like a bell when "pinged". Fantastic shape, base diam 7.5 cms with a gentle flare outwards and upwards towards the top with an imposing 34 cms diameter. Lovely thing, superb and unusual glaze to interior, with a degree of texture that you can feel when you run your fingers over it. When the light catches it at the right angle you can see a hint of an oil sheen irridescent effect.

I've never come across this glaze before and I've seen a lot of Poole in my time! I always get proof of posting. Each item is well wrapped and packaged.
