About the Artist:Herb Cohen b. 1931 is a highly celebrated American ceramic artist and a graduate of the prestigious New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University (BFA & MFA). He served as a designer for the iconic Hyalyn Porcelain Company in the 1950s before becoming the Acting Director of the Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC.
