Vintage 1981 A Barlow Swan Sculptures Pair Signed & Dated Studio Pottery Ceramic

Offered is a beautiful pair of vintage handmade ceramic swan sculptures, signed and dated "A Barlow 81" on the underside of each piece. Created in 1981, each sculpture features a stylized swan form with elongated necks and smooth, flowing lines, finished in a glossy off-white glaze. Measuring approximately 13-14 inches in height, they display beautifully on a shelf, console, or mantle.

The subtle differences between the two pieces confirm they are individually hand-formed studio pottery, not mass-produced. A strong example of early-1980s American studio ceramic art with a clean MCM style. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor kiln and firing marks consistent with handmade pottery. Clean and ready to display. Style: Studio pottery / modernist / postmodern.
